Livestock Breeding Goes Green

(VEN) - After two months experimenting with the 'Livestock breeding with the application of ecological cushion cover techniques' project, the farm of Nguyen Van Phuc in Nam Son commune, Soc Son district (Hanoi) with nearly 1,000 pigs has seen positive changes. All the urine and animal droppings have been treated onsite, and the pigs have gained three to five kilograms more in weight compared to traditional rearing methods. Phuc said gladly "I hope that more and more farms will apply this new breeding technique to remedy the growing waste problem that has had a detrimental impact on production, the environment and people's health."
