(VEN) - After four years the KC.07/06-10 project on the undertaking of research to apply and develop technology to serve rural and agricultural industrialization and modernization has been implemented, with more than 200 technologies and technology process created which have contributed to increasing product productivity and quality and reducing product prices. Technological renovation has fostered production development, created jobs and increased incomes for farmers and people in rural areas.
Agilent Technologies Responds to Vietnam's Food Safety Efforts

(VEN) - On September 6, Agilent Technologies, Inc. introduced two new biological measurement and analysis products - the Agilent 1200 Series Infinity LC and Agilent 6400 Series Triple Quadruple Mass Spectrometer - that are designed to define toxic substances and mixes such as acidic herbicide. The new equipment will assist Vietnam to grow as an international exporter of farm produce, forest products and seafood.
Bangladesh Likely To Import Vietnamese Rice

(VEN) - Agromonitor, a market analysis and prediction joint stock company, said that Bangladesh is likely to buy 500,000 tonnes of rice from Vietnam in 2010. This is a good signal for Vietnamese rice exporters. That several countries change from wheat to rice imports will lead to an increase in the price of Vietnamese rice in the near future.

(VEN) - The use of clay-baked bricks is a traditional construction method in Vietnam. However clay-baked bricks destroy agricultural land, consume large amounts of fuel and harm the environment. The use of non-baked materials not only helps avoid these disadvantages but is also an eco-friendly product which uses recycled industrial waste, turning them into building materials.
